Big Law Firms

Big Law is the nickname given to the group of large, high-revenue law firms that are usually located in major U.S. cities, such as New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. These firms often have multiple branches, sometimes in smaller cities, as well as an international presence.

In House Corporations

In house counsels are legal advisors who advocate the fiduciary, statutory and ethical concerns raised in a corporation. They can also be called as lawyers who are hired by a company to resolve its legal issues in all areas.

Boutique Firms

A boutique law firm is defined generally as a small law firm with under 250 attorneys. They usually have fewer than 5 offices and are regional in nature. Due to its small in size, boutique firms usually offer legal services in select or niche practice areas.

Non-Legal Opportunities

At law firms, there are a large number of people who make the partnership grow who are not attorneys. These paralegals, directors, and coordinators are essential for the life blood of these firms and in house corporations.

“I successfully adjusted to working from home and with SCG’s help, I was able to find a firm that appreciated my talents, which allowed me to spend more time with my family.”
